Well, That Didn’t Go Well
My first attempt with the Nesco NPC Smart Canner didn’t go well.
I bought plums, read the instructions for the canner, read the directions for water bathing plums, even watched a couple of You Tube videos.
Nevertheless, this is what happened with my plums:
Thank goodness, FAIL means First Attempt In Learning.

Ha, Sue, there are so many possibilities! I really don’t know: besides user error, it could be the lids I’m using, or the new canner. It’s not as if I’m new to canning.
Wait and see what happened with my next attempt … spoiler alert, I’ll be eating boiled potatoes every day this week.
